Guinness International Champions Cup: AC Milan 0 vs Chelsea 2

Jose Mourinho's men extended their unbeaten run in preseason and set up a mouthwatering 2013 Guinness International Champions Cup final match with former employers, Real Madrid, at the SunLife Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Wednesday. This recent victory came against 7-times champions of Europe, AC Milan, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Guinness International Champions Cup: Chelsea vs Inter Milan 2-0

At the end of an exiting 90 minutes of football at the Lucas Oil Stadium (whose pitch was not in a good state anyway) in the American city of Indianapolis, the might of the Blues' rampant attack proved too strong for an Inter Milan side that was more comfortable sitting deep and waiting to hit their opponents on a counter. The Blues started the strongest and ended in the best possible fashion.

Chelsea's Victory Over The Malaysian XI Affirms A New Direction For The Club

I saw some positive good football in today's game with the Malaysian XI as we ran over them 4-1 in front of their 40,000-strong home crowd. This match was better in terms of entertainment and quality than the previous one with the Singha All Stars, though that one was a good match too. But the Malaysia XI vs Chelsea game was better in the sense that Chelsea was able to create more opportunities for themselves and score more goals. That's got to show that the team is finally beginning to gel, understand themselves better and function as a unit.
